Job summary

Enlighten, a Top Workplace winner, seeks a DevOps Engineer to join a fast-paced team in San Antonio, TX. The role focuses on Kubernetes, container orchestration, CI/CD, and automation to ensure scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure. On-site with DoD clearance requirements and a $20K sign-on bonus.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in DevOps or related fields, strong Python/Bash/Go skills, and experience with AWS and Big Data solutions. A TS/SCI process may be pursued after hire.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering or Software Development and a Bachelor's in related field; or 3 years with a Masters; or 9 years with HS diploma or equivalent.
• Active Top Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance required; U.S. Citizenship.
• Willing to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda) and configuration management tools.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go; Git and Flux familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS, especially EKS.
• Automate deployment processes and implement CI/CD pipelines for reliability and rapid scaling.
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into the operational infrastructure.
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure high availability.
• Continuously improve processes and tools for performance and reliability.
• Stay current with new technologies and industry trends.
• Open to additional duties as assigned.
