Job summary

Enlighten, a Top Workplace, seeks a DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced team. You will work on Kubernetes-based infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and big data solutions using Python, Bash, and Go.

The role emphasizes AWS, Linux administration, and modern configuration tools like Terraform and Ansible. The position is hybrid, averaging 1-2 days on-site per week at our San Antonio, TX office, with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and collaboration with cross-functional

Qualifications

• Active DoD 8140/8570 compliance certifications (i.e. Security+) or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• 5+ years of DevOps Engineering or Software Development with related degree; or 3 years with Masters; or 9 years with HS diploma.

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS, especially EKS.
• Support development and deployment of on-premise and portable Edge infrastructure.
• Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability and scalability of services.
• Manage Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into the infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and resolve issues.
• Continuously improve processes for high availability and performance.
• Stay current with new technologies and industry trends.
• Other duties as assigned.
