Enlighten is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will have strong Kubernetes and container orchestration, CI/CD, automation, Linux administration, scripting in Bash, programming in Python, and AWS experience, with a background in big data solutions. This role supports a customer onsite in San Antonio, TX.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret government clearance required.
• Willing and able to obtain TS/SCI within 30 days of hire.
• 5+ years in DevOps or software development; or 3 years with a Masters; or 9 years with a High School diploma.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with AWS (EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda) and Terraform/Ansible.
• Proficient in Python, Bash, or Go and Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support cloud infrastructure in AWS, especially EKS.
• Automate deployment with CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliability and rapid scaling.
• Manage Kubernetes containers and AWS infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into operations.
• Monitor production systems and troubleshoot to maintain high availability.
• Continuously improve processes and tools for performance and reliability.
• Stay current with new technologies and industry trends.
