Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC. is seeking a senior DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced development team on a customer-focused project at Fort Meade, MD. The role emphasizes Kubernetes-based orchestration, automation, and secure, scalable cloud and edge infrastructure.

Ideal candidates bring 9+ years in DevOps or software development, strong Python/Bash/Go skills, and DoD 8140/8570 compliance. Onsite presence is required 4–5 days a week with potential partial telework.

Qualifications

• Nine or more years of DevOps Engineering or Software Development experience with a related Bachelor's degree, or seven years with a Master’s degree, or thirteen years with a HS diploma.
• Strong Kubernetes and AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda) knowledge and practical deployment experience.
• Proficient in Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD tooling, scripting (Python/Bash/Go) and Linux system administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps initiatives and mentor teams, applying senior-level guidance.
• Automate deployment pipelines and manage cloud and edge infrastructure.
• Maintain reliability and scalability of services; monitor and triage production systems.
