Job summary

Citi in New Castle Delaware seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the IDP platform CI/CD pipeline, OpenShift deployments, and database management for Passport processing. You will lead end-to-end operations of the IDP Studio, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security in a fast-paced environment.

You bring hands-on expertise in DevOps, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Docker, and modern observability tools. The role emphasizes security scanning, Helm charts, Kafka operations, and working across Python

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering role.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Harness, Tekton, Lightspeed) and with Python and React JS build processes.
• Experience with Postgres database management and Liquibase migrations.
• Expert-level Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Experience creating and managing complex Helm charts.
• Strong Kafka/messaging operations experience and monitoring skills.
• Security scanning tools (Snyk, Checkmarx) and Artifactory management.
• Observability stack expertise with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or Splunk.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own CI/CD pipeline design, build, and maintenance with Harness, Github, Tekton, and LSE.
• Lead OpenShift deployments and implement blue-green, canary, and rolling updates.
• Manage Postgres databases and Liquibase-based schema changes.
• Lead Helm chart lifecycle; manage charts in Artifactory.
• Oversee Kafka messaging operations and tuning for performance.
• Ensure container security and governance; integrate image scanning and Artifactory lifecycle.
• Build and maintain observability stack with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/Splunk; create dashboards and alerts.
