Job summary

Citi is seeking an Intermediate DevOps Engineer for a Hybrid role based in Tampa, FL, with additional locations in Irving, TX. The candidate will design, implement, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure, while guiding junior engineers and aligning with Citi's security and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include IaC with Terraform/Ansible, container orchestration with Kubernetes/OpenShift, and close collaboration with Dev, QA, Security, and Ops teams across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 3–5+ years in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or Software Development with at least 2 years in leadership.
• Proven experience building secure CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift, AWS and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement IaC configurations with Terraform and Ansible.
• Lead DevOps workstreams and mentor engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet security and regulatory standards.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system reliability.
