Job summary

Citi is hiring a DevOps Engineer – Assistant Vice President (C12) in Tampa, FL. This senior role leads automation-first CI/CD initiatives, builds scalable pipelines, and mentors engineers across global teams while ensuring security and regulatory compliance.

You will work with AWS, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and IaC tools to optimize deployment patterns, improve release management, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or Software Development, with 2+ years in leadership/mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Author and manage IaC configurations with Terraform and Ansible for hybrid clouds.
• Reduce toil by automating repetitive SDLC tasks.
• Manage environment configurations across Dev, UAT, and Production.
• Provide technical leadership for DevOps initiatives and mentor engineers.
• Collaborate with Developers, QA, Security, and Operations across regions.
