Job summary

Citi in New Castle, Delaware, is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the IDP platform lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines, OpenShift deployments, and container security. The role emphasizes Postgres management and Helm chart governance within a secure, scalable environment.

You will integrate observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/Splunk to monitor health and performance across services, including Python and React JS components.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering role.
• Hands-on CI/CD with Harness, Tekton, Lightspeed, and Python/React build processes.
• Postgres experience and database schema migrations with Liquibase.
• Expert in Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift containerization and deployment.
• Experience with Helm charts and secure repository management (Artifactory).
• Strong observability setup using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or Splunk.

Responsibilities

• Own CI/CD pipelines from code commit to production deployment.
• Manage OpenShift deployments and implement blue-green, canary, and rolling updates.
• Oversee Postgres databases and Liquibase schema changes.
• Lead Helm chart lifecycle and artifact management in Artifactory.
• Maintain Kafka messaging health and topic/configuration management.
• Enforce container governance and integrate Snyk/Checkmarx scans.
