Job summary

VIA seeks a Senior DevOps Specialist to own deployment, security, and reliability of our Web3 data platform. You will shape infrastructure, lead automation, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure deployments.

You will leverage AI-driven automation, IaC, and cloud-native tools to reduce manual work while meeting rigorous security requirements across CJIS, CMMC, and SOC 2 standards. A remote/hybrid model is available with multiple offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, engineering, information systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering in high-growth tech environments.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with AWS; Azure or GCP a bonus.
• Security/compliance experience (CJIS, CMMC, SOC 2).

Responsibilities

• Shape and operate infrastructure and deployment systems.
• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment tooling.
• Drive reliability and observability across systems.
• Champion security and compliance in automated pipelines.
• Partner with engineering leadership and product teams to prioritize work.
• Identify and implement AI tools and agents to reduce bottlenecks.
