Job summary

Striveworks seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to own deployments, automate IaC, and optimize on‑prem and cloud environments. You will collaborate with platform engineers and customer teams to build scalable, secure deployments of our AI solutions.

This role supports full remote work or hybrid/on‑site work in northwest Austin, TX, with up to 20% travel. A minimum of 6+ years of hands‑on DevOps experience, strong Linux, Terraform/Ansible, Kubernetes, and an active US security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of direct, hands‑on experience in DevOps or similar roles.
• Proficient in Python and/or Golang, or other general purpose languages.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving issues in containerized environments.
• Experience with Helm and Kustomizations.
• Automation and IaC experience (Terraform, Ansible).
• Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack).
• Managing and troubleshooting Linux systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Ability to work cross-functionally to define requirements and build customer solutions.
• Ability to respond to incident reports and triage faults.
• Active Secret (or above) US security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Automate IaC to manage VMs and deploy containers and services; deploy Kubernetes clusters across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Collaborate with platform and customer teams to define requirements for the platform.
• Handle software deployments to DOD networks (unclassified, CUI, classified).
• Provide incident response and initial triage of critical faults.
