Job summary

VIA is seeking a Senior DevOps Specialist to join their DevOps team and own core infrastructure, deployment tooling, and security posture for Web3 data and identity-protection solutions. You will drive reliability, implement AI-assisted automation, and work closely with engineering leadership to align infrastructure with strategic goals.

You will help shape CI/CD pipelines, implement observability, and embed security controls into automated workflows while partnering with security/compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or infra engineering role in a high-growth tech environment.
• Strong Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker experience and cloud familiarity (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Security/compliance knowledge (CJIS, CMMC, SOC2) and scripting proficiency (Python, shell).
• Proven ability to manage priorities across multiple development cycles and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment tooling.
• Improve reliability with monitoring, alerting, incident response, and observability practices.
• Embed security controls into automated pipelines and partner on compliance requirements (CJIS/CMMC/SOC2).
• Collaborate with engineering leadership and product teams to prioritize infra work.
• Identify and implement AI tools to reduce manual bottlenecks across the DevOps lifecycle.
