Job summary

CLARA Analytics is seeking a DevOps Engineer to cover Eastern Time Zone hours (7am - 3pm ET) and work with Data and Software Engineering teams under the Director of DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security. The role maintains a highly automated, infrastructure-as-code platform in a SOC 2 environment, focusing on AWS, Kubernetes, and Bedrock integrations.

You will build and maintain Terraform modules, optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and support agentic workloads and observability across the cloud

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps and IAC (Infrastructure-as-Code).
• Deep experience with AWS core services (IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, EKS/ECS).
• Strong Terraform, Kubernetes+Helm, and GitLab CI knowledge, plus SOC 2 familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated infrastructure workflows in Terraform (IAM, EKS, EMR, Lambda, S3, KMS, RDS, security groups).
• Own and improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines: automated testing, security scanning, and safe/staged promotion with rollback.
• Manage Kubernetes on EKS via Helm, including GitLab runners with KEDA.
• Support AI/agentic workloads, Bedrock AgentCore runtimes, gateways, memory, and identity.
• Provision and manage AWS Bedrock access and governance.
