Job summary

Clara Analytics is hiring a DevOps Engineer to support Eastern Time Zone hours and collaborate with Data and Software Engineering teams under the CTO. You will maintain automated infrastructure using Terraform and Helm, manage AWS Bedrock access, and ensure SOC 2 compliance while driving production stability.

The role emphasizes Kubernetes on EKS, GitLab CI/CD, and cost-optimized data pipelines in a highly automated, serverless-style environment. Fully remote with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years in DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
• Strong knowledge of AWS core services (IAM, VPC, EC2, S3).
• Proficient with Terraform and Kubernetes Helm; GitLab CI or equivalent.
• Comfort operating under SOC 2 controls and change-safety requirements.
• Exposure to LLM/AI tooling and Bedrock is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated infrastructure workflows in Terraform (IAM, EKS, EMR, Lambda, S3, KMS, RDS, security groups).
• Own and improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and security scanning.
• Manage Kubernetes on EKS via Helm and GitLab runners with KEDA.
• Support AI workloads and Bedrock AgentCore runtimes, gateways, and observability.
• Provision and manage Bedrock access with least-privilege IAM and cost monitoring.
• Ensure access management and change requests align with SOC 2 controls.
• Operate Elasticsearch/OpenSearch and data pipelines; contribute to cost optimization.
