Job summary

SAI360 Inc. is seeking a Senior DevOps Build Engineer to join our remote-first EMEA team. You will shape enterprise build automation, secure software delivery, and CI/CD modernization across multiple apps and teams from a global, collaborative setup.

You will own build strategies, partner with Security and Architecture, and drive automation while mentoring others in modern DevOps practices. This role emphasizes scalable, secure, and observable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Maven, including large-scale multi-module projects and dependency governance.
• Strong expertise in the Java ecosystem (framework compatibility, runtime management, Tomcat, application servers).
• Proven experience leading complex upgrades of Java, Spring, Tomcat, and containerized environments.
• Deep knowledge of modern CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar).
• Advanced understanding of DevSecOps, secure software supply chains, and vulnerability management.
• Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes alongside Linux administration.

Responsibilities

• Build & Dependency Management: Define build and dependency strategies across applications and teams; design and maintain Maven frameworks.
• Security & Release Management: Collaborate with Security/Architecture on baselines, DevSecOps practices, and audits.
• Integration Testing & Quality Support: Establish quality metrics and automated gates in CI/CD pipelines; lead root cause analysis.
• CI/CD & DevOps Automation: Design, govern, and improve enterprise CI/CD platforms; drive automation for productivity.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Align with QA, Dev, Security, and Ops; mentor engineers in modern DevOps practices.
