Job summary

Micron Technology seeks an Electrical Device Characterization expert in Boise, Idaho to drive advanced memory testing and translate measurements into actionable insights for NAND/DRAM products. You will collaborate with device, process and product teams to influence technology development and reliability.

You will lead characterization methods, automate data pipelines with Python and C/C++, architect test setups, and mentor others while communicating findings to cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong foundation in semiconductor physics, device characterization, and semiconductor processing.
• Experience with semiconductor test equipment, including SMUs, SPAs, LCR meters, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, pulse or waveform generators, and wafer probers.
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, Unix/Linux, Agentic AI tools, and JMP/JSL.
• Experience scaling characterization methods into production environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical characterization for advanced memory devices
• Develop measurement methods, algorithms, and scalable characterization standards
• Automate data pipelines and analysis using Python, JSL, C/C++, and dashboard tools
• Architect test setups and manage wafer probe and ATE test flows
• Investigate device behavior, identify root causes, and communicate technical findings
