Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, Idaho seeks a Semiconductor Process Engineer 3 to lead electrical characterization for advanced memory devices and collaborate with device, process, and product teams to turn measurements into actionable insights.

You will develop measurement methods, automate data pipelines using Python, C/C++, and JMP/JSL, and help shape test flows to improve performance and reliability of NAND, DRAM, and emerging memory products.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong foundation in semiconductor physics, device characterization, and semiconductor processing.
• Experience with semiconductor test equipment, including SMUs, SPAs, LCR meters, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, pulse or waveform generators, and wafer probers.
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, Unix/Linux, JMP/JSL, and Agentic AI tools.
• Experience scaling characterization methods into production environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical characterization for advanced memory devices.
• Develop measurement methods, algorithms, and scalable characterization standards.
• Automate data pipelines and analysis using Python, JSL, C/C++, and dashboard tools.
• Architect test setups and manage wafer probe and ATE test flows.
• Investigate device behavior, identify root causes, and communicate technical findings.
