Job summary

Yahoo seeks a Senior Software Engineer in DevEx (Finance) to own and advance the developer experience platform, including CI/CD pipelines, artifact management, and GitOps with ArgoCD.

You will work across platform initiatives, AI-assisted workflows, and tooling, delivering reusable templates and clear docs for squads, while improving observability and reliability.

The role supports flexible hybrid work with occasional on-site events and a strong emphasis on collaboration and security.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional software development or platform engineering experience with CI/CD.
Hands-on experience with enterprise CI/CD platforms and reusable workflow modules.
Experience with artifact management platforms and release patterns.
Ability to own and deliver squad-level features and migrations.

Responsibilities

Own and deliver key components of developer platform initiatives across CI/CD modernization and GitOps rollouts.
Utilize AI pair-programming and automation tools to rapidly generate and test CI/CD assets.
Inspect, validate, and troubleshoot platform configurations for production readiness and security.
Build reusable pipeline templates and clear developer documentation for golden paths.
Support artifact publish/consume patterns and CI compute optimization.
Serve as a primary technical contact during platform rollouts and gather feedback.
