Job summary

The Partnership for Public Service in the United States is seeking a Senior Manager, Development - California for a fully remote role based in California, with a preference for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will cultivate and secure support from high-net-worth individuals and foundations in California, coordinating with senior leaders to advance the organization's mission.

Qualifications

• A minimum of seven years progressively responsible fundraising experience.
• Two years' experience cultivating, soliciting and stewarding individual donors of $10,000+.
• Experience with prospect research and foundation grants of $50,000+ preferred.
• Familiarity with donor relationship management systems; Salesforce preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of 40+ California funders and prospects.
• Identify and cultivate new individual and foundation prospects in California.
• Steward California-based donors and design cultivation events to raise the Partnership's profile.
• Provide input into revenue targets and strategies for California programs.
• Draft concept papers, grant proposals and grant reports as required.
• Maintain Salesforce records and meeting notes in the system.
