Job summary

The Partnership for Public Service is seeking a Senior Manager, Development - California to join a fully remote California-based team. The role focuses on cultivating relationships with California funders and supporting high-net-worth individuals and foundations to advance the organization's mission.

You will manage a ~40‑funders portfolio, coordinate with the CEO and senior leadership, draft concept papers and grant proposals, and maintain donor records in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Seven years fundraising, business development or sales experience.
• Two years’ experience cultivating, soliciting and stewarding individual donors of $10,000+.
• Experience with prospect research.
• Experience securing foundation grants of $50,000+ preferred.
• Familiarity with donor relationship management systems; Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to secure support from ~40 California funders and prospects, soliciting individuals and foundations while collaborating with senior leaders.
• Identify and cultivate new individual and foundation prospects for California programs.
• Steward California-based donors and prospects and design cultivation events to raise the Partnership’s profile.
• Provide input into revenue targets and strategies for California programs.
• Draft concept papers, grant proposals and grant reports; maintain Salesforce records.
