Job summary

Center for Employment Opportunities in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Senior Associate, Development to co-lead high-stakes fundraising initiatives. Hybrid work arrangement with regional or national focus and collaboration with leadership to align fundraising with organizational impact.

You will manage grant writing, reporting, and donor communications across foundation, corporate, government, and individual supporters.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in fundraising and grant writing.
• 1–2 years of direct grant writing and revenue generation experience.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects across dispersed teams.
• Proven track record partnering with executive leaders on high-stakes funding opportunities.
• Strong ability to deliver presentations to program officers and donors.
• Foundational project leadership and cross-team facilitation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal storytelling for workforce development data.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drafts, assembles, and submits responses to foundation, corporate, and government RFPs, concept papers, and LOIs.
• Coordinates the assembly and submission of grant reports for funders and donors.
• Researches prospective funders and develops strategy memos.
• Coordinates site visits with funders and drafts briefing memos.
• Partners with Program, Investment, Finance, and Grants to ensure on-time deliverables.
• Tracks cultivation, solicitations, and milestones in Salesforce.
• Lead regional or national revenue opportunities and draft strategy memos.
• Mentor Development Associates and co-lead training sessions.
• Leads portfolio review meetings and ensures data integrity.
• Other duties as assigned
