UJA-Federation of New York is seeking a Senior Development Assistant to provide essential administrative support and analytical research to two senior staff in the Philanthropic Leadership Group. This hybrid role involves coordinating with donor databases, preparing reports, and supporting major donor engagements.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with some after-hours event support
The Senior Development Assistant in the Philanthropic Leadership Group (PLG) reports to and provides essential administrative support and analytical research skills to two senior staff members in the department:They also will support team-wide projects as needed.
PLG serves as the strategic engager of major donors to UJA’s annual campaign. The work of our team is varied and includes a myriad programs and events throughout the year to engage and steward UJA’s major donors; This engagement is through UJA’s major giving societies at the $25K+ gift level. Another core focus of our work includes collaborating with and assisting other fundraising departments on engagement and solicitation strategies for their major donors. PLG is ultimately responsible for closing all major gifts throughout the organization.
The salary for this role is $50,000/year.
This role reports to the Vice President, Philanthropic Leadership Group and is a hybrid position, with a set three days/week in office.
