Job summary

Nscale is hiring a Senior Developer Experience Engineer in the US. You will own the delivery platform end to end, setting roadmaps and standards for CI/CD and GitOps, while running the internal developer portal and service catalog to enable engineers to ship faster and safer.

You will mentor engineers, drive architecture reviews, and lead high-impact incidents. We value strong ownership, the ability to influence tooling across teams, and a track record in building scalable developer platforms

Qualifications

• Senior engineer with ownership of CI/CD or deployment systems used by many teams.
• Experience with GitOps tooling and Kubernetes at scale.
• Ability to design internal developer platforms and portals (Backstage or similar).

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery platform end to end from PR to production.
• Define paved road: templates, release conventions, deployment standards.
• Own internal developer portal and service catalog with adoption data.
• Set technical direction for GitOps (Argo CD/Flux) across multi-cluster environments.
• Own build, release layer, and artifact registry for fast, reproducible builds.
• Maintain LocalStack-based test environments for cloud API testing.
• Lead change management automation into Jira Service Management with security and audit integration.
• Set SLOs/SLIs for the delivery platform and drive improvements.
• Grow the team through mentoring and architectural reviews.
• Influence cross-team tooling and adoption of best practices.
