Nscale, a GPU cloud company, seeks a Senior Developer Experience Engineer to own the delivery platform end-to-end, driving GitOps decisions and the internal developer portal. You will mentor engineers, set standards for deployment, and shape how internal developers reach production quickly and safely.

Competenze

• 6-10 years in platform engineering, SRE, DevOps, or software engineering with ownership of CI/CD or deployment systems.
• Strong software engineering skills in Python, Go, or similar.
• Deep experience with GitHub at organization scale and with GitOps tooling (Argo CD, Flux) on Kubernetes.
• Experience automating change management or release approval against a ticketing system, ideally Jira Service Management.
• Solid command of Kubernetes, Linux, networking, and distributed systems.
• Experience with secrets and identity in pipelines (Vault, OIDC) and with artifact/supply chain management.
• Ownership of a build and release system at scale, including performance, reproducibility, cache strategy, and artifact registry design.
• Experience designing and running an internal developer platform and developer portal (Backstage or similar).
• Reliability practices: SLOs, observability, incident process, and on-call that teams can live with.
• Track record of treating developers as customers with adoption metrics and documentation.
• Trusted senior voice in design reviews and incidents, able to make decisions under pressure.
• Habit of elevating the people around you.

Mansioni

• Own the delivery platform end to end from pull request to production and set the roadmap.
• Define paved road, including golden paths, templates, release conventions, and deployment standards.
• Own the internal developer portal (Backstage or equivalent) as the gateway to the paved road.
• Set technical direction for GitOps across Argo CD and Flux across Kubernetes.
• Own the build and release layer and its performance, including container images and artifact registry.
• Own local and episodic test environments and testing against cloud APIs.
• Design and lead change management automation into Jira Service Management with security and governance.
• Set SLOs/SLIs for the delivery platform and use data to guide what to build next.
• Grow the team and mentor engineers through design reviews and incident debriefs.
• Lead design reviews across Engineering to bake deployability and change requirements in from start.
• Lead the hardest platform incidents and drive root-cause investigations into lasting changes.
• Influence other teams to adopt shared tooling with trust and measurable improvement.
