Nscale is hiring a Developer Experience Engineer to own the path from commit to production. You will build and maintain CI/CD tooling, GitOps pipelines (Argo CD/Flux), and the local/test environments that empower internal developers to ship faster and safer.

You will work with DevOps, SRE, Security, and Infra teams to improve reliability and reduce toil. Ideal candidates have 3–6 years in platform engineering or DevOps, strong Python/Go skills, and hands-on GitHub Actions experience.

Qualificações

• 3-6 years in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or software engineering.
• Strong programming skills (Python, Go) and automation focus.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and GitOps tools (Argo CD/Flux).
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and containers.
• Experience with build/release tooling and container image builds.
• Familiarity with internal developer portals or service catalogs (Backstage).
• Linux and networking fundamentals for debugging runners and clusters.
• Monitoring/observability: metrics, logs, dashboards, alerts.
• Track record troubleshooting live production issues end-to-end.
• Customer-focused mindset and bias for reducing toil.

Responsabilidades

• Build and own tooling that carries code from PR to production, including workflows and pipelines.
• Own the build and release layer: tooling, caching, image builds, registry, and promotions.
• Own test environments (LocalStack) for testing cloud APIs locally and in CI.
• Automate change management: connect git, CI, and deploy events to Jira SM.
• Define and maintain SLOs, SLIs, and dashboards for the delivery platform.
• Treat developer toil as a bug and remove slow/manual steps from merge to run.
• Troubleshoot pipeline/deploy failures and drive root-cause analysis.
• Maintain repository safety: CODEOWNERS, branch protection, reusable workflows.
