Job summary

Dilectus Workforce Solutions is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer to advance our internal developer platform. You will own developer tooling, CI/CD, and observability capabilities that empower engineers across teams.

You’ll work on scalable infrastructure, automate release processes, and raise operability by default, aligning with product and ML teams to move fast without compromising reliability.

Qualifications

Production software experience in platform / devtools or SRE/release engineering.
Strong coding ability in Python and/or TypeScript/JS, plus developer-facing tooling.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems and scalable pipelines.
Experience with observability in production (metrics/logs/traces).
Comfort with containers and cloud infrastructure (Docker/Kubernetes).
Proven track record of improving developer experience with measurable outcomes (faster builds, fewer flakes, safer deploys).

Responsibilities

Identify workflow bottlenecks (build/test/release/local dev) and build tools to reduce toil.
Create and maintain golden paths like service templates, CLIs, libraries, and automation.
Design reusable CI pipelines and deployment workflows adopted across teams.
Improve reliability of builds and tests, reduce flakes, and drive down cycle time.
Establish observability primitives and partner with engineers to improve operability.
