Job summary

AlphaSense is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the CI/CD platform and developer experience. You will design and operate production-grade delivery infrastructure, contribute hands-on in Go and Python, and collaborate across timezones with senior engineers across dozens of teams.

You will champion progressive delivery, build observable tooling, evolve the Internal Developer Portal, and embed AI-assisted workflows into the SDLC to raise engineering velocity, quality, and developer experience across

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Platform Engineering or Developer Experience with CI/CD focus.
• Own and operate a CI/CD platform including security/configuration/enablement.
• Hands-on Go production development experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve CI/CD architecture and developer-facing experience.
• Improve pipeline reliability, speed, and predictability.
• Define paved paths for product teams to ship fast and safely.
• Own the delivery process end-to-end from code merge to production.
• Champion progressive delivery: canary deployments and automated rollbacks.
• Build tooling to make deployments observable, repeatable, and self-service.
• Own and evolve Internal Developer Portal and self-service experiences.
• Partner with Cloud Platform teams on infrastructure while owning the developer-facing delivery.
• Embed AI tooling into delivery workflows to boost productivity.
