Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II for the Developer Experience team. You will design and build internal tooling and platforms that boost productivity and reliability for engineering teams across the company.

You will own complex initiatives end-to-end, from scoping to rollout, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce toil and improve velocity. This role requires autonomy, clear communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-changing

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in backend languages (Go, Ruby, Python, Java or similar).
• Golang, Python, or Typescript experience.
• Experience building developer tooling, CI/CD, or productivity infra.
• Ability to lead technical projects with cross-functional impact.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain internal developer tooling, platforms, and infrastructure.
• Own complex technical initiatives end-to-end with autonomy.
• Identify friction points in the developer experience and drive solutions.
• Contribute to the technical direction via design and code reviews.
• Adapt in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment and make sound decisions.
