Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Developer Experience team. You will lead the technical direction for local and remote development environments, CI pipelines, and pre-production environments to accelerate production readiness.

This hands-on leadership role involves architecture, code contributions, and cross-team collaboration to improve developer velocity and reliability while advancing AI-powered tooling across the workflow.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large engineering teams and defining platform direction.
• Strong background in scalable CI/CD and software delivery velocity.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tooling and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction for local and remote development environments.
• Lead the technical direction for CI pipeline infrastructure and the commit-to-feedback loop.
• Own the architecture of pre-production environments and validation at scale.
• Drive git infra reliability and disaster recovery planning.
• Advance AI-powered developer tooling across the workflow.
• Design and drive multi-quarter initiatives.
