Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on Ruby on Rails experience with production applications.
• Solid front-end fundamentals with React or similar component-based frameworks.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills in production environments.
• Deep engineering fundamentals: SOLID, domain-driven design, performant queries, testing practices.
• Full-stack ownership: back end, front end, tests, demos, delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain core web and mobile features from back end to front end, owning delivery at every step.
• Tackle complex engineering problems—scale, concurrency, data ingestion—and back solutions with data.
• Integrate and maintain third-party tools and services to keep the platform reliable.
• Collaborate across Product, Care, and Finance to scope new features and resolve issues.
• Mentor teammates, review pull requests, and raise the team’s overall code quality.
