ZayZoon is hiring a Senior Developer to own features end-to-end, from backend architecture through frontend delivery, testing, and demos. You will deliver robust, scalable software that powers our financial wellness platform for employees.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on Ruby on Rails experience with production applications.
• Strong front-end fundamentals with React or React Native.
• Experience with SQL and data analysis to diagnose performance and production behavior.
• Deep engineering fundamentals: SOLID, domain-driven design, testing (unit/integration).
• Full-stack ownership from backend to frontend, tests, and demos.
• Experience with scale, concurrency, and background processing.
• Agile fluency: sprint planning, stand-ups, story grooming.
• Comfort with tooling: Git, GitHub, Jira, editor.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain core web and mobile features from back end to front end, owning delivery at every step.
• Tackle complex engineering problems around scale, concurrency, and data ingestion with data-driven approaches.
• Integrate and maintain third-party tools and services to keep the platform reliable.
• Collaborate with Product, Care, and Finance to scope features and resolve production issues.
• Mentor teammates through reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing to raise team capability.
• Leverage AI to streamline processes and reduce friction in workflows.
• Maintain a secure, well-structured SDLC with maintainable, tested code.
