Job summary

Referment’s New York office seeks a senior Desktop and Workplace Engineer to own the most complex user technology issues for front-office and leadership teams. You will operate as the on-site escalation point, coordinating across endpoints, identity, and trading applications while guiding the MSP to deliver consistent service.

Qualifications

Seven+ years in desktop, workplace or end-user engineering, including Tier 3/senior escalation.
Experience supporting enterprise users in finance/trading environments.
Strong ability to troubleshoot across Windows, macOS, cloud apps and VPN.

Responsibilities

Act as senior escalation point for New York office.
Provide expert support to portfolio managers, analysts, traders and senior users.
Resolve complex issues spanning endpoints, identity, connectivity and workplace tech.
Coordinate MSP day-to-day delivery and ensure quality standards.
Lead incident response for urgent, business-critical issues.
Develop automation with PowerShell and create runbooks.
