Job summary

Quantum Sky is searching for a Desktop Support Level II in Westover, MA to provide end-user support for PC, server, and mainframe applications under the AFRC IT Services contract. The role includes configurations, diagnostics, upgrades, repairs, and preventive maintenance of PCs and peripherals.

This on-site position requires DoD Secret clearance and an active IAT Level II certification (SecPlus+). It supports in-person and remote IT aid with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Required: Experience managing network modernization work or system projects of similar scope and complexity.
• Required: Experience as a desktop support technician or equivalent (IT Support, IT Tech, etc.).
• Required: Capabilities to deliver in-person and remote IT aid.
• Required: Fantastic installation, diagnostic, upgrade, and restoration abilities.
• Required: Excellent vertical and lateral thinking.
• Required: Superb time management skills.
• Required: Clear written and verbal communication.
• Required: On site support in Westover, MA.
• Required: Active Comp TIA IAT Level II certification; i.e. SecPlus+ certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to end-users for PC, server, mainframe applications, and hardware.
• Perform configurations, installations, diagnostics, upgrades, repairs and preventive maintenance of personal computer products and peripherals.
• Interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem.
• Simulate or recreate user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
• Recommend systems modifications to reduce user problems.
• Maintain currency and highest level of technical skill in field of expertise.
