Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced IT Professional to support workstation management in a contract capacity in El Segundo, CA. You will image, configure and deploy workstations using SCCM/MDT, with Autopilot/Intune experience a plus, and perform end-user security and application deployment tasks.

You will handle Level 2 escalations, assist with incident management, asset tracking and documentation while coordinating with vendors and IT teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years deploying, updating, optimizing and troubleshooting Windows-based workstations in a corporate environment.
• 5+ years providing support for common corporate client-side technologies, including wired/wireless networks, VPNs & security tokens, WiFi/broadband technologies, collaboration tools (IM, Web/Video Conferencing).
• Experience deploying images, software & updates with workstation management tools (MDT, SMS, SCCM, Autopilot, Intune).
• 5+ years providing support for Windows 10, Windows 11; Windows Server experience a plus.
• 5+ years providing support for MS Office and major applications; 5+ years for other client-side apps.

Responsibilities

• Workstation imaging, configuration & deployment/user setup using SCCM/MDT; Autopilot/Intune a plus.
• Application deployment using enterprise tools
• Hardware asset tracking & reporting
• End-user security/protection application support (virus/malware removal, encryption, etc.)
• Workstation research & OS/patch/application deployment initiatives
• Level 2 technical support for workstations, devices, apps, networks and messaging services
• Occasional level 1 support after-hours during high-demand periods
• On-site & remote troubleshooting for executive/VIP personnel
• General user guidance, education and incident management
• Document workstation configuration standards and admin tasks
• Manage site logistics incl. inventory, shipping/receiving
• Strong focus on process improvement and teamwork
