Job summary

ION Group in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Desktop and Security Administrator to deliver high-quality desktop support and oversee the lifecycle management of Dash end-user devices. This role ensures endpoints are deployed, configured, secured, and retired per firm standards.

The position supports security initiatives, audits, and IAM/EDR tooling, with a focus on reducing risk while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced trading technology environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in desktop support and endpoint administration.
• Experience with Windows and MacOS environments.
• Strong experience with MDM platforms.
• Experience creating endpoint policies and compliance controls.
• Experience managing Identity and Access Management platforms.
• Experience implementing and managing EDR solutions.
• Troubleshoot endpoint issues: network, VPN, hardware, SaaS access.
• Manage device asset lifecycle and inventory controls.
• Familiarity with SIEM, VPN, Privileged Access Management, and Server EDR.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and firewall policies.
• Knowledge of Linux-based desktop environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote desktop support to all Dash personnel.
• Own and manage the full lifecycle of end-user devices (procurement, configuration, deployment, patching, monitoring, inventory, disposal).
• Implement and enforce technical controls for endpoints per security policies.
• Configure and support SSO integrations across third-party apps.
• Assist Security team with audits, remediation, and security initiatives.
• Partner with Network Engineering on office network projects and firewall coordination.
