Job summary

NCDIT-Transportation in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Expert Specialist to evaluate IT incidents, mentor team members, and coordinate with Client Services to prioritize problems. The role requires hands-on support, strong hardware/software knowledge, and proactive communication.

You will install and image computers, deploy business apps, configure printers, manage data migration, and maintain documentation. Travel when needed and expense approval are supported.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in IT field support or technical services.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, printers and networking.
• Experience documenting processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead incidents and problems with a sense of urgency and keep customers updated.
• Mentor teammates and coordinate with Client Services and Service Desk.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for processes, SLAs, and standards.
• Install and image new computers and load required software.
• Deploy business applications and configure printers and peripherals.
• Support data restoration, user profiles migration, and account management (AD, email).
• Travel as required for role.
