Job summary

Madison-Davis, LLC is seeking a hands-on Desktop Engineering and Security Lead to own portions of the enterprise end-user computing environment. The role blends desktop engineering, endpoint management, virtualization, automation, and security.

You will engineer and secure Windows endpoints, automate with PowerShell, manage imaging/patching with SCCM, and support Citrix VDI/XenApp while hardening configurations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise technology experience.
• Experience in financial services is a plus.

A global financial services and investment management organization is seeking a hands-on Desktop Engineering and Security Lead to take ownership of key areas of its enterprise end-user computing environment.

This individual will help engineer, automate, secure, and improve the technologies used to manage Windows endpoints across a geographically distributed workforce. The position combines desktop engineering, endpoint management, virtual desktop technology, automation, and endpoint security. This is an engineering-focused opportunity rather than a traditional desktop support position.

Responsibilities:

• Engineer and maintain enterprise Windows endpoint technologies and standards.
• Manage device configuration, imaging, software deployment, and patch management.
• Develop and maintain Windows Group Policy configurations.
• Engineer and support Citrix virtual desktop and application-delivery environments.
• Build and maintain endpoint-security configurations and hardening standards.
• Develop PowerShell automation to improve reliability and reduce manual administration.
• Troubleshoot complex endpoint issues across desktop, infrastructure, application, and security dependencies.
• Support desktop migrations, deployments, integration testing, and production changes.

Role Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant enterprise technology experience.
• Professional experience within financial services.
• Strong hands-on desktop, endpoint, or EUC engineering experience.
• Strong SCCM experience, including imaging and patch management.
• Experience engineering and troubleshooting Group Policy.
• Citrix VDI and XenApp experience.
• Experience with endpoint-security policies and technologies.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation capabilities.
• Microsoft 365 experience.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
