Job summary

FlightSafety International in Orlando, FL seeks a Senior Deskside Support Technician to join an onsite IT team serving senior leaders. This hands-on, customer-facing role provides Tier 2 and 3 support with a high degree of autonomy, helping executives stay productive.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues, install and upgrade systems, write how-to guides, and collaborate with vendors. Travel may be required as projects arise.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of customer-facing deskside support experience.
• Excellent technical knowledge of PCs and desktop hardware.
• Working knowledge of networks, operating systems, and Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform Tier 2 and Tier 3 escalations to vendors and internal teams.
• Deliver hands-on IT concierge support to senior leaders, onsite and remote.
• Diagnose problems and link issues to underlying causes to craft solutions.
• Install, repair, upgrade, and configure hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Create technical documentation with step-by-step instructions.
• Coordinate hardware procurement and manage OEM warranty returns.
