Job summary

Urban Outfitters in Philadelphia is seeking a Senior Designer (Wovens) to lead the woven tops, bottoms, denim and outerwear collections within the Men’s Design Team. The role combines creative direction with hands-on development from concept through fittings and seasonal presentations.

As a brand ambassador, you will partner with Buying, Product Development, and Print + Color to shape seasonal vision, identify white space, and respond to trends in real time.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of design experience in fashion, preferably in menswear or woven categories.
• Bachelor degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• Strong knowledge of trends, customer behavior, and brand vision.
• Ability to balance creativity with business acumen and margins.
• Demonstrated leadership: mentoring, feedback, coaching.

Responsibilities

• Oversee woven design development from concept through final presentation.
• Lead and mentor Associate and Assistant Designers; provide direction and feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Buying, Product Development, and Print + Color.
• Drive seasonal collections, ensure quality, margin alignment, and timely delivery.
• Analyze sales data to inform design decisions and respond to market trends.
• Maintain strong communication and presentation skills for cross-functional alignment.
