Job summary

The North Face is seeking a Senior Designer – Men’s Apparel to elevate design expression across Men’s Tops & Bottoms. You will balance creativity with the ability to deliver, lead seasonal research, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive product design from concept to final release.

You’ll present work to large audiences, demonstrate brand DNA and material knowledge, and maintain high standards for craftsmanship and performance fabrics.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in athletic / outdoor / sportswear mens wear design.
• Strong product acumen; knowledge of design, development, sourcing and manufacturing.
• Flat sketching and illustrating expertise.
• Active participant in the sports/activity designs you’re creating for.
• Hands‑on experience with Adobe Creative Suite CAD software.
• 3D software and AI image generation experience (Clo / Browzwear / Vizcom / Midjourney) a plus.
• Tech packs: high-quality, detailed work.
• Cost engineering knowledge; design to cost.
• Strong experience in fitting.
• Understanding of silhouette needs for sports; strong aesthetic.
• Experience with performance materials, trims and color palettes.
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills.
• Proficient communication with cross‑functional teams and vendors.
• Knowledge of product cycles and core deadlines.
• Growth mindset and willingness to learn new tools.
