Job summary

WEKA seeks a Senior Designated Services Engineer to bridge customers and Engineering, troubleshoot complex enterprise infrastructure, and shape product supportability. You will work across Linux-based storage, networking, and cloud environments, providing deep technical guidance to Fortune 50-scale customers and partners.

In this role, you will monitor systems, document issues, and contribute to knowledge bases while collaborating with pre-sales and account teams.

Qualifications

10+ years in customer-facing technical roles.
Diagnose hardware failures, network congestion, and performance bottlenecks.
Linux-based storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud support.
Proficiency in Python, Bash, and automation scripting.
Strong English and Mandarin language skills.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers and Engineering to address gaps, reliability concerns, and documentation improvements.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating to Engineering when needed.
Provide feedback to Engineering to enhance product supportability and serviceability.
Support pre-sales engineers, partners, and resellers with technical expertise.
Proactively monitor WEKA systems using remote tools to identify issues.
Own, track, and document customer issues via the ticketing system.
Communicate clearly with customers, partners, and internal teams.
Contribute to knowledge-sharing through FAQs and KB articles.
Manage multiple projects and support cases concurrently.
Participate in on-call rotations and travel as needed.
