WEKA is seeking a Sales Engineer based in Los Angeles, California, to join our hyper-growth sales team. In this role, you will collaborate with our customers, helping them understand the value of WEKA's cutting-edge technologies during evaluations and configurations.

We seek individuals with a strong background in high-performance IO workloads and Linux systems. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys customer interaction and technical advocacy while driving impactful solutions within a dynamic, growing company.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with high performance IO workloads.
• Experience with distributed parallel file systems.
• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of Data Center networking.
• Experience with performance analysis and demonstrations.
• Previous start-up experience preferred.
• Experience running workloads in various cloud environments.
• Scripting skills are an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to educate them on WEKA's technology.
• Assist with evaluations and system configurations.
• Deliver product presentations and demos.
• Provide feedback to R&D and product management.
• Act as a technical adviser to customers.
• Lead responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
• Create and maintain best practices documentation.

Skills

High performance IO workloads

Extensive filesystem systems (NFS, SMB)

Strong Linux OS knowledge

Data Center networking understanding

Performance demonstrations and analysis

Experience in cloud hypervisors (AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP)

Scripting abilities

Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills
