Job summary

Glen Raven is seeking a Sr Manager Design Trade Sales to expand Sunbrella’s presence in the design trade, engaging interior designers, design firms, and trade partners to increase specification of Sunbrella fabrics and finished products. The role focuses on priority markets, delivering impactful presentations, and representing the brand at industry events with a hunter mentality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive sales or business development experience in textiles, furnishings, home décor, or design-related industries.
• Strong network within the design and architecture community.
• Self-motivated, strategic hunter mentality with ability to work independently.
• Strong understanding of the interior design industry workflows and purchasing behaviors.
• Experience with brand partners, manufacturers, and retailers; and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage designer relationships with senior-level designers, design firms, and influencers in priority markets.
• Deliver high-impact presentations and product knowledge sessions to designers and firms.
• Identify design industry prospects and maintain a CRM database for outreach.
• Drive sales growth by targeting high-potential markets, firms, and segments.
• Represent Sunbrella at major design events and activations; connect designers to Sunbrella products through partners.
• Develop and execute a designer loyalty program to measure and reward designer specifying/buying behavior.
• Track market intelligence and report insights to leadership for product development and marketing.
