Job summary

Ensora Health is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the evolution and governance of the design system across web and native mobile experiences. You will partner with engineering to plan, design, review, test, and release updates while maintaining parity between design and code.

The role emphasizes accessibility, documentation, and AI-enabled workflows, with responsibilities spanning research, prototyping, and governance.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in product or UX design, including 3+ years leading design systems used by multiple product teams.
Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience managing and evolving an effective design system with components, patterns, tokens, documentation, and governance.
Strong interaction and visual design skills with high attention to detail and design quality.
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA) and accessible design approaches.
Experience designing responsive web and native mobile experiences.
Experience partnering with product managers and cross-functional teams in iterative cycles.
Advanced Figma skills including components, prototyping, branching, tokens, AI tools, and parity with code.
Experience collaborating with engineering on a coded component library; understanding HTML/CSS.
Strong communication; ability to present to stakeholders and critique design effectively.
Portfolio showcasing design system and product design work; experience using AI tools in design, research, prototyping, or documentation.
Experience preparing design systems to work with AI-enabled tools and development practices.
Experience designing healthcare, behavioral health, regulated, or data-sensitive products.
Experience migrating products to modern design systems.
Technical proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; experience designing React components or with Material UI.
Experience using product analytics to inform design decisions and measure outcomes.
User research and testing capabilities including planning, data collection, and analysis.

Responsibilities

Lead the evolution, management, and quality of the design system across web and native mobile experiences.
Partner with engineering to plan, design, review, test, QA, and release design system updates.
Maintain parity between design and code across responsive experiences.
Evaluate accessibility/usability; advocate WCAG/ADA-aligned practices and document expectations.
Maintain design system documentation including guidance, responsive behaviors, specs, and accessibility standards.
Support AI readiness through documentation, tokens, guidance, skills, and connections.
Lead design system meetings, office hours, demonstrations, critiques, and team rituals.
Prioritize design system backlog items with product owner and engineering; translate needs into actionable work.
Collaborate with product managers as UX counterpart for TheraNest initiatives; work with engineering and stakeholders across cycles.
Design user-centered solutions aligned with business goals and success metrics.
Produce concepts, wireframes, flows, mockups, prototypes, specifications, and design deliverables.
Plan and conduct user research and usability testing with product partners.
Present work to teams and stakeholders to explain decisions and gather feedback.
Use approved AI tools to improve design, research, documentation, and workflows.
Mentor designers and raise design craft and design system fluency across the team.
