Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Senior Design Systems Engineer to own and integrate axle, driveline, transfer case, gear reducer, and 4WD systems across the product lifecycle. You will interface with Chief Engineer, PRC, DVC, manufacturing, suppliers, and component engineering to deliver a cohesive, manufacturable solution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• 8+ years in relevant automotive engineering, with at least 5 years in geared systems.
• Knowledge of Stellantis engineering systems.

Responsibilities

• Own system-level definition, integration, and balancing of axle, driveline, transfer case, gear reducers, and 4WD software.
• Lead packaging validation, interface control, and tolerance stack-up assessments.
• Coordinate virtual development, CAE reviews, and design reviews across organizations.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks; lead DFMEA/DRBFM activities and quality initiatives.
• Drive change management, engineering release readiness, and cost optimization across programs.
• Lead cross-functional supplier reviews, technical consensus, and program governance.
