Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Design Systems Engineer to lead integration and interface work for transmission and driveline hardware. You will orchestrate design reviews, coordinate with CAE teams, and drive robust design controls across cross-functional groups.

The role requires 5+ years in engineering with propulsion systems experience, and strong English, communication, and project-management skills. On-site in Auburn Hills, MI with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience in product development/design and release.
• 2+ years of propulsion systems experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading collaborative and global teams.
• Understanding of automotive manufacturing and quality processes.
• Advanced English language skills (Read/Write).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Strong work ethic, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage transmission and driveline hardware system integration and interface with components and subsystems.
• Schedule hardware system design reviews across PRC and review DRE design proposals.
• Organize reviews with Virtual Analysis/CAE teams and ensure DVP/Scorecard before prototype orders.
• Lead DFMEA/DRBFM reviews to ensure cohesive Design Controls and robust DVP actions.
• Manage BOM and complexity charts for Axle & Driveline systems.
