Job summary

AlfaTech is seeking a Design Team Project Manager to provide high-level technical leadership for building design projects, coordinating in-house MEP and technology systems and external sub-consultants. You will represent the firm with clients and manage multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

This senior role requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with field readiness and the ability to report to SF or SJ offices on a hybrid basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture is required.
• 10–15 years of direct experience with architectural/engineering design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Architectural (AIA) license preferred.
• PM leadership experience on large design/construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project designs, evaluations, and studies.
• Lead project team in design change management and reviews.
• Establish budgets and schedules; manage contracting, costing, and invoicing.
• Lead meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors; ensure timely delivery.
