Job summary

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years of design experience, a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, and proficiency in Revit and energy modeling tools; PE preferred and LEED accreditation a plus.

Qualifications

• Highly proficient in Trace 700.
• Strong knowledge of State and local Building Codes.
• Proficient in Revit, BIM 360.
• Experience with Energy Pro and CBECC.com.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design utilizing various engineering software.
• Perform HVAC system selections and details designs.
• Select and specify mechanical equipment and devices.
• Review submittal and shop drawing responses; respond to RFIs.
• Document changes to scope, schedule, and budget; advise project team.
• Write technical reports to document engineering analysis and findings.
• Coordinate with colleagues across disciplines and participate in meetings.
• Assist senior engineers in reviewing design and development plans.
