Job summary

AlfaTech is seeking a Sr. Engineer, Electrical in San Francisco, CA. The role provides high-level technical leadership on diverse projects, from small to medium, with potential project management responsibilities.

You will interact with clients, architects, and the project team, applying standards and innovating design approaches. The ideal candidate brings 5–8 years of electrical design experience, strong software proficiency (Revit, BIM 360, SKM), and a PE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant experience in the design field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• PE Certification, preferred.
• BMS and LEED Accreditation are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical design utilizing the latest versions of engineering software.
• Size overcurrent protection and feeders for various electrical equipment.
• Design EPSS and standby power systems per NEC and related standards.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, architects, and project team members.
• Review submittals and shop drawings for contract conformance; manage change orders.
• Lead project kick-offs, track milestones, and ensure on-time delivery with budgets.
