Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions in Nashua, NH seeks a Senior Product Development Engineer to lead high-speed IO connector development for AI/ML platforms and data center applications.

The role drives innovation, system-level integration, and cross-functional execution, serving as the technical owner for a specific form factor while engaging customers and supporting NPI and manufacturing transitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of experience in high-speed connector development.
• Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo) and simulation (ANSYS).
• Strong knowledge of signal integrity, EMI/EMC and thermal management.
• Experience with stamping, plating, molding, and assembly processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of high-speed IO connectors for 112Gb+ signaling.
• Define testing protocols and validate electrical, mechanical and environmental performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system-level integration and standards compliance.
• Own projects from concept through production and support NPI transitions.
• Interface with customers, translate requirements into design goals, and present progress.
