Job summary

Clark Holdings Inc. seeks a Senior Design Manager to guide partnered design firms on complex projects in the McLean area. You will oversee design quality, ensure contractual compliance, and lead cross-functional design reviews and progress meetings.

The role requires extensive civil/ geotechnical design background, PE licensure in the DC/MD/VA area or reciprocity within 4 months, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across interfaces with construction and procurement teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or Master degree in Civil or Structural or Geotechnical engineering
• 8+ years of relevant work design experience with support of excavation and deep foundation projects and temporary support of the facade and utility and temporary bridge
• Professional engineering license in VA, MD, and DC or able to reciprocity within 4 months
• Must have strong interest in Geotechnical Construction

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality design on budget and on schedule
• Lead stakeholder decision meetings, design progress meetings, and design conferences
• Organize the design review process and lead resolution to all comments
• Collaborate internally with technical teams, project managers, cost managers, and purchasing agents
• Manage design issue resolution in real-time
• Participate in bid submissions and development of RFP/RFQ responses
• Recruit top industry talent to join the Clark team
